Who the Lessons Are For

I welcome students of all ages and backgrounds – teaching children, teenagers, and adults. Whether you are picking up the guitar for the very first time, wish to learn songs around the campfire, or want to return to playing after years away, I adapt each lesson to your individual pace and musical goals.

What You Will Learn & My Teaching Approach

The lessons are always tailored to what you genuinely enjoy playing:

• Playing for Fun & Favorite Songs: Essential and advanced chords, rhythms, fingerpicking patterns, and accompaniment for your favorite music.
• Solid Technique & Music Theory: Reading sheet music/tabs, music fundamentals, proper posture, fingerstyle and pick techniques, or classical foundations.
• Methodical Experience: I bring over 12 years of pedagogical background from music schools (ZUŠ), community art centers, and private tutoring. As a qualified educator, I place strong emphasis on patience, clarity, and steady progression.

Teaching Locations (Prague & Podkrkonoší)

I live and work between Prague and Miletín, offering lessons across both areas:

1. Prague & Surroundings

• Studio in Prague 6: Regular lessons in my dedicated teaching space.
• At Your Home: In-home lessons are available across Prague and adjacent districts upon agreement.

2. Miletín & Surrounding Towns (Hradec Králové Region)

• Ateliér V. I. T. R. (Miletín): Lessons directly in the inspiring atmosphere of my studio – no minimum student quota required.
• In-Home Lessons in Hub Towns: Available in accessible towns with direct bus connections – including Hořice, Jičín, Lázně Bělohrad, and Hradec Králové.

  Note on travel: As I travel by public transit, in-home lessons in these towns require a block of at least 3 consecutive lessons / students in the given area on the same day (ideal for siblings, families, or friends). I generally do not commute to smaller outlying villages, but you are warmly welcome to visit the atelier in Miletín.

Scheduling & Languages

• Availability: I currently have open slots throughout all weekdays. Lesson days and times are scheduled flexibly around my travel schedule between Prague and Miletín.
• Languages: Lessons are held in English or Czech (conversational French is also possible for arrangements).
